Mission & scope

Frontiers in Robotics and AI publishes rigorously peer-reviewed theoretical and applied robotics research, featuring diverse disciplines from biomedical and micro-nano systems to field robotics. The journal also seeks to highlight research showcasing artificial intelligence as applied to robotics, advancing perception through innovative vision and sensor systems, developing autonomous robot behaviour, and establishing novel forms of interaction with the environment and the humans. Field Chief Editor Kostas J Kyriakopoulos, from the National Technical University of Athens, is supported by an outstanding Editorial Board of international experts to verify and enhance the quality of the featured articles. This multidisciplinary open-access journal is at the forefront of disseminating and communicating scientific knowledge and impactful discoveries defining the Frontiers of a cutting-edge domain such as Robotics and AI to researchers and the public, worldwide.
