Clone will leverage its musculoskeletal technology to scale the anthropomorphic hand design to make an entire human torso. The Clone Torso will possess a rigid spine, actuated neck and two fully actuated arms from shoulder to fingertips.

Designed for natural skeleton

RPi 4B in skull

Clone Torso is equipped with a Raspberry Pi 4. It can be connected to the network and controlled by a high-level software.

Screen

Shows basic information about clone torso state such as battery level, pressure and power consumption.

Esophagus

Flexible espophagus that allows for quick and safe water refillment.

Clone arm

Clone 24 DoF precise and durable mapipulator. Clone torso is equipped with two of those.

Funnel

Allows a user to fill up robot with the liquid.

Circulatory system

Monolythic and flexible circulatory system that bends along with the spine.

Flexible water container

Stores 2L of 'robot liquid' that is used to power the clone torso.

Electro hydraulic valves

Matrix of electrohydraulic valves that control the flow of water in the circulatory system.

Hydraulic accumulator

Accumulates pressure for more precise pressure control.

Filter

Filters water circulating in the system.

Abdomen

Free volume in abdomen that can be used to store additional power supply.

Safety by-pass

Ensures stable and constant water pressure inside circulatory system.

Motor controller

Hydraulic pump motor controller for precise pressure adjustments.

Electrohydraulic BLDC pump

Clone invented a flexible, 500W powering supply that fits neatly inside the torso of a human skeleton.
