Heavy loads never felt lighter

The CarrySuit is a passive, upper-body exoskeleton that reduces the load on the hands, arms, shoulders and back when carrying and holding heavy loads. It consists of a rigid exoskeleton frame, spanning from the user’s hip to above the shoulders. It can be directly connected via an adapter to external payloads.

Your Benefits

The CarrySuit exoskeleton transfers the weight of the payload to the user’s hip, bypassing critical joints like the wrist, elbow, shoulder, and spine and relieving the muscles in the torso and upper extremities. Heart rate and muscle activity measurements have shown that the CarrySuit can significantly reduce the load on the users' musculoskeletal and cardiovascular systems. The result is that the work is much less exhausting and strainful.

What kind of work is supported

The CarrySuit is designed to support all work that requires holding and carrying heavy loads. This includes applications in construction, relocation, warehousing, logistics, and others.

Level of support provided

We quantified the level of load reduction through a series of experiments in a biomechanical laboratory. The results show that using the CarrySuit significantly reduces the load on the arm- and torso muscles and the heart rate of its users. This results in a much less strainful and exhausting work experience.

How to attach different loads

Out of the box, the CarrySuit is equipped with two snap hooks to connect loads. The user can use the hooks to quickly attach and detach a variety of payloads. For payloads that cannot be connected with a snap hook, we offer and develop various exchangeable adapters to connect them to the CarrySuit.
