Event Description and Details

the 29th IEEE International Conference on Emerging Technologies and Factory Automation (ETFA) will be held on September 10-13, 2024, in Padova, Italy (www.ieee-etfa.org).


ETFA is at the forefront of advancements and emerging technologies in the realm of effective design and operation of automation systems in industrial settings. ETFA brings together industry experts and academic professionals, offering a platform to exchange pioneering ideas, recent progressions, research findings, and practical accomplishments within industrial and factory automation systems. 

ETFA 2024 is jointly organized by the University of Padova and the National Research Council of Italy, and it is sponsored by the IEEE Industrial Electronics Society (IES).

We cordially invite you to attend and contribute to the conference. 
ETFA 2024 is organized in an Industry day (on September 10), Workshops (on September 10), and the Main Conference (on September 11-13) featuring 11 Technical Tracks, Special Sessions, in addition to a number of invited plenary talks. 
Regular and survey papers (8 pages) or work-in-progress and industry practice papers (4 pages) on ETFA-related topics are invited. 

Presented papers will be copyrighted by IEEE and published in the conference proceedings available in the IEEE Xplore Digital Library.
