Applications: From Small Components to Heavy Boxes
The Elite Robots CS Series cobots cover a particularly broad range of industrial work. At the smaller end, the CS63 and CS66 are suited to lightweight pick-and-place, small-part assembly, screwdriving, inspection, machine vision and other jobs where a compact arm and good repeatability are important.
The CS612 moves into medium-payload automation with a 12 kg capacity and 1,304 mm reach. This makes it suitable for larger workpieces, CNC machine tending, welding, dispensing, handling and lighter palletizing.
For heavier or larger items, the CS620 provides the longest reach in the series at 1,800 mm, while the CS625 trades some of that reach for a higher 25 kg payload and slightly better repeatability. The CS530H sits at the top of the payload range. Unlike the general-purpose 6-axis models, it uses a specialised 5-axis architecture designed principally for palletizing, stacking and end-of-line box handling.
Designed to Be Adapted
The CS Series combines physical protection with an expandable control platform. Standard IP65 protection helps keep dust and water jets away from the arm, while optional IP68 protection is available for more demanding conditions. ISO Class 5 cleanroom certification also extends the range into controlled manufacturing and laboratory environments.
Programming can be completed through Elite Robots’ graphical interface and free-drag teaching, while Python scripting, an SDK and custom plugins support more advanced applications. The controller provides common industrial communication options for connecting PLCs, end-effectors, vision equipment and other devices. Programs can also be prepared through the embedded simulation platform, and an integrated palletizing wizard simplifies the setup of repetitive stacking patterns.
The built-in collaborative safety functions help the arms work within human-centred automation systems. However, whether a particular installation can operate without additional guarding still depends on the completed application, including its speed, payload, tool and workpiece.
